Review Detail
2017 Jackson’s Hill Cabernet Franc
Wine Rating
90
A light red in the glass which is a hallmark of Cabernet Franc with enjoyable tobacco and earth notes to blackcurrant on the nose.
The wine is medium bodied with a juicy line of acidity and fine yet framing tannins that allow black fruits with a tomato leaf edge to fill the mid palate before oak gives a sheath of richness to finish. The length is very good with the wine to reward short term cellaring.
