Deep red with a lighter hue towards the edge of the glass. Amazingly aromatic nose of dark plum, cedar, violets and vanillin oak. The palate is well proportioned with spicy plum and blackberry on the front to mid palate and high quality French oak and persistent fine grained tannins dominating the back palate. Wine has great acidity and balance, suggest a short to medium rather than long term cellaring for optimum enjoyment.
