2018 d’Arenberg The Danger Mouse Nero d’Avola
Wine Rating

92
A nose of graphite and blackberry fruit with background bramble / bracken. The palate is lively and steeped in blackberry fruit, there is a fullness of mouthfeell but it is all about the unbridled purity of dark berry fruits. Tannins have a chalkiness to them and are tempered by the wines 14.5% alcohol. The finish has the characteristic milk chocolate McLaren Vale thread that works in effortlessly.
