A touch reductive on the nose with olive and plum and some smokey overtones. The palate has sweet plum and prune with lashings of tannin and a faint etching of aniseed to brooding dark berry fruits. The wine is a touch one dimensional to finish and is certainly full bodied and what you see is what you get.
