A dusty but sweet fruited nose with plush plum and distinct oak influence. Medium to full bodied with understated dark berry fruits, the wine in true Barbera fashion starts with some tart acidity and a bitterness of tannin before the mid palate opens up a little more with blood plum, herbs and cedar. The finish has good length and focuses on both fruit and savoury influence.
