Review Detail
2020 Colours of the South Rosso
Wine Rating
91
A blend of Negroamaro, Montepulciano and Aglianico and unlike many, if any wines coming out of the Barossa. This is a wine of texture and contrast, there is crunch of fruit and acidity that at times borders on tart, but is contrasted by fine tannins that have glossy edges even though savoury. There are crushed herbs that mix with bitter dark cocoa to finish alongside dark cherry fruit. An engaging wine.
