Other Red April 25, 2011
2009 Teusner Joshua GMS
Wine Rating

92
A lighter red in the glass, the nose is bright and fragrant with dark cherry and spice characters. The addition of no oak ensures the wine is an unbridled expression of fruit, and undoubtedly there were some excellent parcels that went into this wine. The palate is rich and juicy with raspberry, licorice and plum all combining with fine tannins and balanced acidity. The finish shows excellent length and focus.

The wine is drinking well now and there is no reason that it shouldn’t continue to do so over the short to medium term.
