Review Detail
2009 Yarra Yering Dry Red No 03
Wine Rating
92
Medium red in colour, the nose has dark fruits that meld with olive, herb and controlled new oak inputs.
The wine is medium to full bodied, having a great structure and pure expression of fruit on the palate, with dark plum and blackberry dominant.
The tannins provide good support to the fruit and there is a youthful line of acidity that underwrites a good cellaring life.
