Review Detail
2004 McIvor Estate Petit Verdot
Wine Rating
91
Deep red in colour, earthy barnyard plum and leather characters dominate the nose, not unlike an aged Barossa Shiraz.
The palate has dark plum, olive and leather with fine tannins and balanced acid, on the finish the length is just starting to fade, but is still shows a very enjoyable expression of savoury plum fruit.
