2015 Pierro Blanc de Blanc

Blanc de Blanc is a literal transaction for white of white, meaning white wine from white grapes. Blanc de Blanc is often synonymous with Chardonnay, however in this case the wine is produced with Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc, producing a wine with aromatic tropical fruits and juicy acidity.

A light yellow in the glass the nose is youthful and highlights the high notes of passionfruit and gooseberry that are the hallmark of the constituent varieties in their youth, the palate has a fullness that is supported by some residual sugar which gives a nice balance when paired with the wines considered acidity. Finishes with a little spritz.
