This is the first release of this wine from Silent Way and is sourced from the Midhill Vineyard in Romsey within the Macedon Ranges. This is a vineyard that has provided the constituent grapes to a number of fine wines produced from the region.
An ever so slight tint of colour in the glass, the nose is lifted and aromatic with musk and turkish delight supported by a little candied lime.
The textural components on the palate give the wine depth and presence, the candied lime from the nose is evident on the palate combining with richer nuances and benefiting from a grapefruit-esque twang to finish.
A wine that delivers more than just an attractive nose !
