The Watson Family is the entry level range from Woodlands that is sold through their family run cellar door in Margaret River, the wine is well made but doesn’t pack the same punch as those produced by some of it’s neighbours. The nose gives grassy tropical fruit, with initial rounded citrus and tropical notes on the palate, across the journey there is a definite contrast between acid and fruit on the mid palate that is angular and yet to find a middle ground.
