2017 Granite Hills Grüner Veltliner

This is the second release of Gruner Veltliner from Granite Hills and follows up on their excellent maiden release in 2016.

There are some stark similarities between the 2016 and 2017 releases with balance and elegance a consistent thread. The wine gives an aromatic nose of nectarine with musk and citrus blossom supported by background citrus notes. The palate provides a delicate tension between taut acidity and finely structured citrus fruits alongside new season nectarine. Jasmine like spice and a lovely textural grip frames the finish.
