2019 Gundog Estate Indomitus Albus

The wine is blend of Semillon (60%), Gewürztraminer (27%) from the Hunter Valley and the final 13% of Riesling from the Four Winds vineyard in Canberra. 30% of the Semillon was aged on skins for 142 days, giving both unique aromatics and texture.

A floral, musk laden nose with stone fruits and Turkish delight. The palate continues the Turkish delight thread and is more dominant than fruit characters. There is subtle build of texture that shows itself as pomegranate on the mid palate, there is enough citrus acidity to keep things flowing with musk and lemon lingering. The Indomitus range from Gundog Estate continues to impress.
