Review Detail
2005 Sam Miranda High Plains Traminer Riesling
Wine Rating
82
A wine that no doubt is passed it's peak, a golden yellow in colour, the nose is a half way house between an aged Riesling that show gritty kerosine character, and a tropical fruited young Sauvignon Blanc.
The palate is equally confronting, with savoury and sweet characters so contrasting it is hard to approach, especially on the finish.
