Review Detail
2014 Willow Bridge Estate Chenin Blanc
(Updated: February 11, 2015)
Wine Rating
91
The wine benefits from portions fermented in tank as well as barrel, allowing for a more savory and funky expression of the variety.
The nose gives slate and nashi pear alongside more fruit salad aromas. There is a textured and full mouthfeel with sour edged passionfruit with a touch of grapefruit astringency. Mineral acidity drives the finish alongside an enjoyable phenolic grip.
