Review Detail
2014 Tscharke Girl Talk Savagnin
Wine Rating
90
This wine shows some adept winemaking, 12% of the blend was aged in new french oak with the remainder in tank for 12 months, the resultant wine has crunchy acidity at it's core whilst giving texture and depth.
The nose has floral citrus notes that leads to a palate laden with green apple and pear, the wine benefits from new oak inputs that add subtle spice and depth to the mid palate. The finish has fullness and a mineral drive.
