Review Detail
2014 Leeuwin Estate Siblings Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
Wine Rating
92
The quintessential white blend from WA, the siblings range represents great value with the pure varietal expression and subtle winemaker influences of the Sem/Sav creating a wine that could easily sit alongside the Art Series.
The nose is a heady mix of citrus and more tropical notes, balanced by savoury grassy undertones. The palate is textural with time in barrel giving mouthfeel and a more restrained expression of citrus fruits. The wine finishes with lemon thyme and a touch of spice to go alongside attractive lemon/lime fruit.
