Review Detail
2013 Leeuwin Estate Sibling Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
Wine Rating
88
This was tasted alongside the 2014 and even though a good wine highlighted the benefits of enjoying a Sem / Sav in it’s youth when it’s youthful exuberance and crunch acidity are in full swing.
A light yellow in the glass the nose shows restrained tropical fruits with some grassy notes, the palate gives passionfruit and citrus with a subtle savoury attitude. Enjoyable but best consumed over the shorter term.
