A classic Rhone blend, this is one of the most enjoyable expressions i have tasted in recent years.
The wine is a light yellow in the glass with a nose of honeyed stone fruits and straw; subtlety and elegance sum up the wine, the palate is underwritten by understated nectarine fruit with gentle oak inputs giving an ever so noticeable suggestion of spice. There is a general softness and fullness to the palate that is so texturally appealing, whilst still contrasted by enough acidity to ensure long term development.
