Grillo is a variety that is extremely rare in Australia, it’s a wine that thrives in it’s native Sicily, and is typically the principle grape of Marsala.
The nose gives herbaceous undertones to juicy citrus fruits, green apple and paw paw, the palate shows a medium to full bodied wine with with a general softness that’s a nice counterpoint to the more citrus dominant notes. The finish gives depth of citrus and textural grip with subtle herbs lingering.
