Review Detail
2016 Handcrafted by Geoff Hardy Gruner Veltliner
Wine Rating
92
A decidedly light yellow in the glass with a nose of pear, green apple and wet slate with a honeyed aspect.
There is a crunchy, chalky note at the wines core that gives a racy and textural baseline, there is a roundness and richness to nashi pear fruit on the mid to back palate before driving length that is afforded by the slate like citrus acidity that makes this an incredibly moreish wine.
