Review Detail
2017 Hand Crafted by Geoff Hardy Fiano
Wine Rating
90
An alternative variety, which is true to name with a nose that really stands out, there is peach, understated paw paw, and boysenberry which is a combination of aromatics that doesn’t appear in too many Australian wines.
The palate is more on the full bodied side of the spectrum for a white wine with stone fruits, rock melon and paw paw benefiting from plenty of textural drive that leaves a chalky, mealy and mouth filling finish. A tingling line of citrus acidity is the lasting memory.
