Review Detail
2019 Aylesbury Estate Q05_Arneis
Wine Rating
93
Light yellow in the glass, with an intriguing and complex nose of new season pear, lemon curd and floral white flower tones. The palate shows concentrated fruit that is set against chalky, moreish acidity. There is a continuation of the pear influence with a touch of ginger spice to stone fruits before the finish enjoys grip and texture from lemon and grapefruit.
A variety that is gaining some traction in Australia, with a lot to like here.
