Review Detail
2018 Yangarra Estate Roux Beaute Roussanne
Wine Rating
95
A label that started as a winemaking trial in 2013 with the wine wild yeast fermented in ceramic eggs with 50% of the blend staying on skins for 193 days prior to pressing.
The wine gives a light yellow in colour with Meyer lemon, citrus zest and some honeysuckle on the nose, there is a flowing and generous texture with time on skins and ageing in the egg giving a subtle roundness whilst remaining vibrant; A touch of fennel and grip of grapefruit build before a lingering citrus dominant finish.
