A blend of 75% Semillon 15% Riesling and 10% Gewurztraminer from the Rising vineyard. A nose of lemon myrtle, candied lemon and hazelnut, the palate has a baseline of citrus fruits with a continuation of the candied citrus peel on the nose. The mouthfeel builds with the 11.5% alcohol providing enough depth and contrast to the taut citrus lines. There is a restrained generosity of of stone fruits that are understated with a subtle creaminess that frames the finish. A complex, intriguing wine.
