Review Detail
2019 Susoro Farfalla Friulano
Wine Rating
92
The grapes were grown in the Mornington Peninsula, with the wine having a light yellow in the glass. The nose has tropical coconut and pineapple tones, almost a pina colada like which is sure to turn heads. An unashamedly enjoyable wine, bone dry but packed full of white peach and nectarine, as well as the complex and mouth filing impact of time on lees and oak which affords a gentle creaminess. There is lovely acidity to close that tempers the wines gentle creaminess. Worth seeking out.
