Fresh green herbs with green pea working alongside some background tropical notes on the nose.
Crushed herbs and faint capsicum are the dominant flavours on the palate initially. The wine has good texture and weight in terms of mouthfeel, with acidity well integrated, allowing the wine to stretch out in terms of length. The finish has underripe tropical fruits in the form of guava and pineapple, with a grassy twist to finish.
It pushes the boundary of ripeness, but works.
