Review Detail
2019 Grey Sands Blanc de Noir
Wine Rating
92
A still Blanc de Noir, something that is new to me !
A golden yellow in colour, with the nose having pronounced apricot notes with a dry honey backdrop. The palate shows a wonderfully silky texture that sees ripe, textured wild strawberry and gently tropical notes contrasted by finely structured lines of acidity that give such a litheness to the wine. The finish enjoys the textural pull of acidity and a long, lingering influence of just ripe strawberry fruit.
