A unique blend of Hunter Valley Semillon and Canberra District Riesling.. and the resultant wine has plenty of interest and intrigue.
The nose has an understated smokiness to it with pink grapefruit, lanolin and a touch of citrus. The palate is drying and characterised by finely textured lines of acidity and being more about savoury impact that primary fruit flavours. What is there, is built around orange zest and understated boysenberry with a lemon and lime twist. Long, moreish length to finish.
A truly unique wine that gives plenty of drinking pleasure but hard to place.
