Review Detail
2010 Moorooduc Estate Pinot Gris
Wine Rating
88
A very light golden colour, the nose gives away little more than a touch of honeyed pear, the palate is layered and textured and provides a very nice mouth feel without exuding fruit weight, there is pear, fennel and melon, but they are subtle and somewhat hidden.

Actually you'd be surprised how beautifully this wine is aging. Was very tight, as your review suggests 18 months ago, but doing beautiful things, slowly in the bottle. I think it will be looking at its best in 2-3 years time!
