Review Detail
2013 Logan Weemala Pinot Gris
Wine Rating
90
A lightly golden in colour with a slight orange hue, the nose provides plenty of interest with apple strudel and a touch of orange peel.
The palate is generous and textured without being cloying, rounded pear fruit is given a textural kick by green apple and mandarin on the mid to back palate.
The finish is full and well contrasted by balanced acid, this is a great example of the gris style with fruit sweetness and depth.
