Pinot Gris November 07, 2014
2014 Austins & Co Six Foot Six Pinot Gris
Wine Rating

90

A nice colour in the glass with a very light almost pastel yellow with a fleck of green. The nose gives pear, lemon blossom, candied apple and a little crystallised ginger. The palate has good texture with citrus at it’s core, it’s fleshed out with richer pear and a touch of citrus and ginger spice to finish.

A good varietal expression of Pinot Gris that has enough complexity to stand on it’s own, and enough generous acidity to be a great match with food.
