Review Detail
2016 Sidewood Pinot Gris
Wine Rating
93
A decidedly light yellow in the glass, a nose that isn’t your typical Pinot Gris with a flinty note to tangerine and lemon curd. The palate sees just ripe pear make an appearance with some mealy characters that work well against chalky lime zest infused acidity. There is background pickled ginger that is an enjoyable counterpoint to nashi pear with length to burn on the finish.
