Green pea, freshly crushed herbs and underripe pear on the nose. The green pea note is a constant and carried by the wines textural backbone of acidity. In terms of fruit the wine has more of a tropical disposition that gives breadth before the herbaceous thread pulls things back. Stylistically this is not like any other Pinot Gris.
