Review Detail
Pinot Gris
April 27, 2011
2010 Punt Road Pinot Gris
Wine Rating
87
Light to straw yellow in colour. The nose shows pear and a hint of citrus.
The palate has unripe nectarine and pear with an almost creamy texture. The mid to back palate lacks freshness and has slightly bitter elements. It will be interesting to see if the mid to back palate fleshes out over time to match the elegance of the nose and front palate.
