A wine that shows its age in terms of colour with slightly browning hues towards the rim of the glass, the nose is similar to other Marcus Hill's i've tried with a spicy, savoury expression of sappy cherry fruit.
The palate is mature, but has a balanced acid and tannin structure that will see this pinot live and evolve for years to come. there is dark cherry, rhubarb and earth. The oak gives spice, with the finish having great length with bright acid and red fruits.
