Good deep red to purple in the glass, the nose shows varietal definition of plum and dark fruits. The palate has dark cherry and plum in excellent concentration, the tannin structure is dominant and shows itself in the mid to back palate, adding a savoury structure to the wine. The finish shows good persistence, but a little one dimensional, the wine will soften and increase complexity after a few years in the bottle.
