A dull, earthy brick red in colour, the nose has classical Pinot varietal characters of undergrowth, stewed red cherry and gentle spices.

The palate is an earthy and spicy mix of cherry and plum that is accentuated by savoury oak influences and supporting acidity that keeps what is a complex palate vibrant and focussed.

The wine has excellent length of spiced fruits and stem on the finish that balances fruit and savoury elements well.

An excellent wine that is hitting it's drinking window now, with continued development over the shorter term.
