A medium red that is more dull around the rim, the nose is somewhat muted and backward with earthy cherry fruit.

The palate shows rosemary , dull cherry and stewed plum, there is some unbalanced acid on the finish, with the fruit starting to lack varietal definition and a slight astringency.
