Deep red in colour, there is stewed cherry and an abundance of oak on the nose.
The palate has the depth of fruit to carry the aromatic and powerful nose. There is bright plum and cherry fruits that are matched with fine tannins in the mid to back palate.
The wine is certainly one of the better examples to be seen from the smoke affected vintage
