A Lovely light to medium red in colour, the nose shows the effects of spicy new oak and perfumed stewed cherries.
The wine has all elements in balance across it's silky, textured palate. The cherry fruit builds in concentration over the palate where it combines with plum, savoury oak and ripe stems. The tannins are firm but well controlled and provide a dark cocoa complexity on the long lingering finish.
This is a wine that will reward cellaring.
