A very dark red for a Pinot. The wine shows primary plum characters on the nose, with heady spice and a touch of black olive character.
The palate is big and ripe, with the tannins and oak to match.
Dense plum and dark cherry is just kept in check by the acid shown on the mid to back palate, however the fruit takes over on the finish at the expense of the wines finesse.
