Red hue in the glass, immediately there are savoury notes evident on the nose, with plum and spiced oak coming through. The front to mid palate shows good varietal fruit, as well as ripe stem characteristics due to whole bunch fermentation, there is a lack of balance on the finish with the acidity a little harsh, this should settle down over the next year or so.
