2009 Seppelt Drumborg Pinot Noir

I like to think about the 09 Drumborg Pinot as a wine in reverse, the palate on entry shows phenomenal spice and bite that dissipates over the journey with more considered red berry elements taking over, but by no means is short in length.

That being said the nose initially has matchsticks, cherry and earth, the palate has all the spice as previously described with layers of red cherry fruit and subtle plum leading a gradual assault on the mid to back palate , an interesting and enjoyable wine.
