Medium red in colour, the nose is perfumed with sweet vanillin oak and elegant cherry fruit in the background.
The palate takes some time to open with initial primary elements of plum and cherry commanding attention, the wine then shows it's softer side with white pepper, spicy cherry and sappy / steamy tannins adding interest and complexity. The finish has good length of red fruits with a fair hit of vanillin oak.
