Medium red in the glass, the nose has rich red cherry, ripe stem and vanillin oak. The palate delivers on both concentration and complexity with well defined plum and cherry fruit matched with fine grained tannins, a hint if spice and cedary oak undertones.

The finish has good length, overall the wine is soft and approachable now and best consumed in the short to medium term
