The 42 Degrees South label is produced by Frogmore Creek and represents the entry level into their wines. The 2010 Pinot Noir has good colour and a varietal nose of dusty strawberry fruits, the palate is lean with some stemmy stalky elements that become slightly bitter towards the finish and detract from the wines structure and fruit expression. Time may allow the wine to soften.
