Produced from the Syme on Yarra Vineyard in the upper Yarra. 30% whole bunch has added to the wines savoury flare and input of new oak gives spice and generosity to what is more of an earthen expression of Pinot Noir.
Medium red with dark and red cherry alongside fresh earth and spice, the palate has a density of cherry with a smokiness and reductive characters. The length is good, and the wine will continue to evolve with time in bottle.
