A rose by any other name, but I like the name as it’s a reminder that the wine was produced from some of the best Pinot Noir in the Macedon Ranges. This is not something you can say about the masses of rose produced across the country.
A burnt orange to pink in colour with wild strawberry, faint citrus and creamy tones. The palate has structure and proportion with length drawn out from a base of taut acidity with summer berry fruits that hone in on raspberry and cherry that are given some richness on the mid palate, the finish enjoys a savoury rendition of just ripe berry fruits.
